Just a bit about Penny outside of work.  I have been married for 22 years, 4 kids & 13 grandchildren. I love the blue waters & scuba diving. I've gone diving with sharks on both Caribbean & Pacific Ocean waters. I love historical drama shows such as Outlander, The Crown, Vikings & so on. I guess that all ties in with my love for traveling to the U.K. & Europe.
Shawn Adams

Kettle River Snowmobile Club
Shawn has been on the Chamber Board for four years and has lived in the area for more than 10 years. He has frequented many local businesses but not had the opportunity to get to know the management/ownership and the chamber has proved to provide him some of those opportunities.
Shawn works at North Shore Credit Union. He is also part of the Kettle River Snowmobile Club.
When not at work Shawn enjoys his 110 acres along with his variety of animals on his hobby farm. It’s a busy lifestyle for sure – keeping up with trails, fences, fields, woods and of course all the animals that keep him plenty busy.
Connie has been working at First National Bank of Moose Lake since 2017 in human resources and was recently promoted to Chief Administrative Officer in the fall of 2025. Connie has been the Treasurer for the City of Denham for 15+ years, and serves on the Willow River Area School Board, currently in her third term. Connie enjoys the connections she’s had the opportunity to make while holding these various positions, and volunteers for many local events to support our communities.
In her down time, Connie enjoys spending time with her amazing family, gardening, nature and farm photography, and catching a good sunrise or sunset-especially by the water or over a field.
Connie took on the Treasurer role in 2025 and while new to the Chamber, she is very familiar with the Moose Lake Community and surrounding areas and is looking forward to being more involved in promoting and supporting our local businesses!

Eric has been the administrator for Gateway Family Health Clinic since 2008. He enjoys working with the staff and physicians to provide exceptional medical care in our local communities, Moose Lake, Hinkley and Sandstone. Eric is also part of the Moose Lake Windemere Sanitation Sewer Board, member of Hope Lutheran Church and coaches youth sports.
When Eric is not working or volunteering, he loves spending time with his wife and two daughters, participating in outdoor activities and home improvement projects.
Eric joined the Moose Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors in 2021. Eric had been a business member of the Chamber and active in Chamber event for years but joined the board in 2021 to take a more active role in the community.
